Our Curriculum and Program

We offer programs for children ranging from ages 0 to 13 years. We provide opportunities for indoor and outdoor activities: Each child in the Infant, Toddler and Preschool classrooms will have a portfolio which outlines all their learning experiences. Parents are encouraged to read through their child's portfolio. Please feel free to contact us.

Infants - from ages 0 to 18 months.

Our Teacher Child ratio is 1:3. At this stage, children are busy learning how to crawl, stand and eventually walk and they require stimulation to help them learn. We provide age appropriate stimulation through music, educational toys, story time, gross and fine motor skills and outdoor experiences  which help our infants to explore the world around them. Rest help to keep the children rejuvenated and also enhances active participation in the program. Infants do not have a set schedule for sleeping. Infants sleep as needed on their individually assigned cribs. We provide parents of infants with a daily record of their child's day. This will include any milestones achieved, activities participated in, mood of the day, sleep times, as well as a record of food eaten and diaper changes.

Toddlers - from ages 18 months to 2 1/2 years of age.

Our Teacher Child ratio is 1:5. At this stage, children are walking, running and exploring their world. We provide age appropriate stimulation through music, educational toys, story time, gross and fine motor skills, outdoor play and a very cheerful and spacious room to help our toddlers explore. Nap time also help them to be more energized to explore more possibilities. We provide parents of toddlers with a daily record of their child's day. This will include any milestones achieved, activities they participated in, sleep time, as well as a record of food eaten and diaper changes.

Preschoolers - from ages 2 1/2 years to 6 years.

Our Teacher Child ratio is 1:8. At this stage, children are learning to be more independent and to develop social skills. Children who feel secure and appreciated in their surroundings gain confidence. Our preschoolers learn school readiness skills to help them transition well into school. We provide them with the perfect developmental toys, games, books and activities to occupy their curious, eager and energetic minds in the areas of science, math, language, sensory, creative arts, dramatic play, music as well as in developing gross and fine motor skills.

School Age - from ages 6 years to 13 years.

Our Teacher Child ratio is 1:15. At this stage, children are more independent and have developed social skills. Learning is curriculum based. We provide a structured learning environment to assist the children to excel at school. We provide age appropriate games, toys, books and activities to enhance their learning experience.

The main emphasis of our program is:

• To provide the children with a rich, interesting learning environment which they can explore with all their senses.
• To encourage the development of positive social skills.
• To encourage the children's feelings of competence by giving them opportunities to experiment, problem solve and enhance their abilities.
• To develop the children's self-esteem by ensuring that they feel valued and cared for as individuals.
• To foster a sense of autonomy by ensuring flexibility and choice.
